Each move in my capstone is a different topic that I decided to research that would help me reach an answer to my overall question. Again, that question is: Does talent come from hard work or genetics?

In order to figure this out, I tried to find examples of athletes that had been successful from hard work and from their genetics. I had all of these big ideas of how I would compare different athletes. However, this seemed pretty impossible. I could not find the measurements and specific information I wanted about each athlete. I gave up on this idea and ended up doing some generic research about the 10,000 hour rule, the Matthew Effect, the gentics of some athletes, and also did a move disproving the 10,000 hour rule.

Even though it was not what I originally wanted, it did help me reach some kind of conclusion. I'm happy with the conclusion that I did come up with and have been able to apply what I learned to my life.

On this site there are short summaries of each move that I did; however, my full capstone essay can be found by clicking here.
